PvP Dicussion

I'd like to voice my opinion on a PvP system for BOA. I believe that pvp should be universal. No safe zones and not togglable. I also believe that there should be a way to flow through the different beings of the Bleach universe through being killed.

Ex: If you are Human/Bount, and you die you will get the option of accepting your death and become a Soul and be sent to the Soul Society or hold onto your life and wake up in a hospital. Though if you are killed by a Hollow you won't have the option of going to the Soul Society, instead you have the option of being reborn in Hueco Mundo as a Hollow.*

As for there being no safe zones, this is so Shinigamis must develope a sense of trust with there squad and fellow Shinis so that they do not kill eachother in battle or betray them. Hollows will have the urge to betray there own kind for the benefits of becoming stronger. Of course I am assuming that there will be NPC Hollows, Shinigamis, and Humans/Bounts that could be used for getting stronger.

Anyway, I'd like to hear how anyone else thinks about how the PvP system is worked out and they have any additions to my idea or like where my idea is going and wish for me to continue my brain storming

*I'll edit in or make a new topic a layout for how to become different beings via dying later if enough people are interested.

Im going to input safe zone's in basic area's thats a given but overall it's a nice idea, i probably wont have a rule for killing infront of a building but spam killing will be punishable.

Hmmm...after reading, i Agree...Universal PvP would be the best..

I choose other!!! I really could go either way as far as PvP. I have never really been one to indulge in it unless it's to serve some sort of justice or a friendly match.

4th Squad is for healing not for fighting... And since we can't heal we sit and do nothing =D

Universal PvP sounds good

I don't know theres might be the issue of jerks running around after haveing trained for so-and-so hours just to piss people off. But the player on player interaction I like. Perhaps they could add a system where others can't kill humans untill they reach 100, And humens can only reach level 101.

thats all good in theory but wut about if they want 2 b killed so they can become a soul then a shini or hollow?

I say safe zones in popular spots such as infront of spawns, major npc's, etc. Toggle pvp of course so we cant die if we dont want to.

Im joining squad four and trying to get LT just beacuse of that.

Well then thats just a benefit for whatever npc or player gets to kill them. I honestly don't see a problem with players giving up there life to be what they wish. The price of life to be reborn the way they wish to be, seems like a fair trade yes? Its just one more free devour/soul burial/kill for other players and npcs. Anyway in my mind, you are welcome to be as suidical as your want to be.

Anyway, the purpose would be to get rid of the usual pick what being you wish to be from the beginning. Also when I thought of this idea I was thinking that it would be a good way to RP.

Say you start your life out as a Human, as all Shinis, Hollows, Bounts, Quincies, and such do and you are minding your own business and fighting of evil and corrupted NPC Humans and thier malicious presence attracts a Hollow, Rokura*. You fall on your ass and witness Rokura wickedly devour the souls of the corrupted Humans, sending there evil souls to Hell. The dust from the onslaught setttles as you stare into the fray. Your eyes meet with the mangled bodies of the wicked and not far behind them your sight conflicts with the blood ruby eyes of Rokura as he sizes up your spiritual energy before he makes his move. You begin trembling, paralyzed by his heavy glare. Rokura's jaw slowly opens and an steady unnerving hum is heard as evil energy condences and compacts into a spherical form. Your senses return and you scramble back to your feet and flee away from what looked to be your end. Your mind is removed of all other thoughts, only one instinct remains. Escape, you must escape at all cost and live! Suddenly, your vision fades to black and the last you see and hear is a blinding crimson flash and the menacing hum overpowering all other sound.

You cough as sand finds is way into your mouth. You sit up and look at the far off moon as it is the only familiar thing you see as you scope out your surrounding. Sand everywhere and dry disfigures trees encompise the vast distances you take in from your vision. You check yourself to find that you are no longer what you once was. You resemble the form of your murderer, you are a Hollow. You are angered by this your rage builds inside you as your focus on the face of your killer. Your mind has but one objective, become strong. Become strong and devour Rokura!

It would also not limit players to staying the same thing once they have made their choice but without simply giving them the option striaght up. It would give a greater character freedom for the players and reduce the amount of people remaking over and over again.

*I hope Rokura doesn't mind me using him in my RP example.
