Ok this is a rather big suggestion but bear with me on it lol. OK, to become a kidouless shinigami there could be a fallen shinigami npc right next to a hollow npc. when you talk to the npc it gives you the option to gain shinigami powers (at this point if you accept you can only have your regular zanpakuto. meaning you cant get shikai or bankai.) and in order to keep your shinigami powers you have to kill the hollow within 1 minute, if you dont then you lose your shinigami powers and turn back into a human unable to become a kidouless shinigami meaning you will not be able to become a vaizard. If you do kill the hollow and want to progress and gain shikai then you have to talk to urahara and do some sort of training method with him (cant think of anything lol) if you do not complete the training within a certain amount of time then you become a hollow. if you pass and want to train further to gain bankai then you ahve to go to SS and find yorouichi to train with her to get bankai.
